Sarah & Richard got married at Shenley Cricket Centre in April this year (http://www.shenleycricketcentre.co.uk/venue) The venue has had a lovely make over since the last time I was there, which was delightful to see.
Sarah and Richard had gone for a vintage theme, something I absolutely love and what a great job they did everything was truly stunning and a pleasure to take pictures of. There was so many things I loved, the flowers where amazing, the hooray sticks were fab and the cake stand a tree stump, truly unique.
Once I had finished with the details I headed outside to take some shots of the groom and groomsmen and what a laugh they were having this made for some great shots. The bride arrived a little early so headed off again, this gave me an opportunity to spend a little time with her bridesmaids and what a great set of friends they were.
The ceremony was an emotional one for the groom which after seeing countless ceremonies even had me welling up – Thanks Richard!
The weather was behaving so we headed outside after the ceremony where the car was waiting to be the backdrop for some great shots. One of my favourites from the day is the one of Sarah in Richards jacket a shot that they weren’t aware I was taking, as Sarah warmed up waiting for her guests to gather for the group shots. A special mention has to go to Sian one of the bridesmaid for helping sort Sarah’s dress and George for gathering all the guests – Thanks guys :0)
