This was to be the first of a 2 week spree for me at Theobald’s Park in Cheshunt www.deverevenues.co.uk/en/venues/theobalds-park , with two weddings back to back at this great venue.
The day was a long one too a massive 10hrs but what a pleasure it was, Lauren and Barris’s family and friends were very welcoming.
The day started at the venue where Lauren and her bridesmaid were busy getting ready. There was plenty of laughter and relaxed time sipping champagne; while the bride’s hair and makeup was being done (which I have to say looked truly stunning I just loved the plaits!) There were plenty of places to take some great shots of the finer details like the shoes and flowers too.
The ceremony was held at the beautiful Twelve Apostles Church in Brookmans Park, a church I’ve worked at before which always helps. Being a Greek ceremony it lasted well over an hour so plenty of opportunities to capture some great shots of the traditional ceremony.
After the ceremony we managed to get some fabulous shots of the newly married couple outside the church, with some of my favourites from the day among them.
Moving onto the venue the temperature had certainly dropped and it was rather chilly but Lauren did well, with a little help from my shawl but I think she appreciated it. The grounds at the venue are wonderful and make for some impressive back drops.
The evening celebrations were a lovely mixture of traditional Greek and English partying, with plenty of dancing and the traditional money dance to finish the evening off!
I was absolutely shattered at the end of it but very happy with the end results!
Fabulous day, congratulations guys!
