Cheryl & Colin’s Wedding

This was the 2nd wedding at Theobald’s Park in 2 weeks and I was certainly getting used to this fab venue. With tea and coffee on tap this is my kind of venue and a lot like home!

Cheryl was busy getting ready in her room at the venue when I arrived and with the best makeup and hair team, she was in good hands . It was very busy so after grabbing a couple of bouquets I headed outside to take some shots and give the bride some much needed space. After that I returned to room to find the hair and makeup in the final stages perfect time to get some shots. What a wonderful job Maria and her team done, all the bridesmaids and the bride herself looked gorgeous that’s why she is one of my recommended suppliers. I especially loved the plaits in the bridesmaid’s hair a firm favourite it would seem for a 2014 wedding. With the wedding nearing we just had enough time for some dress shots and shoe shots. One of my favourites from the day has to be Cheryl’s shoes poking out from under her dress as she sat and relaxed before the ceremony.

Heading over to the manor house I caught up with the groom himself and got some shots of him and his groomsmen. The ceremony itself was a mixture of laughter and tears with a couple of readings from family. The harpist and classical singer played throughout the reception drinks and meal. The music and singing was very relaxing and brought an air of sophistication with every song highly recommended

Moving on to the couple shots I was very pleased to see the daffodils had made an appearance since the last time I was there and proved a great chance to get some shots with them as a foreground. The vintage car was also a lovely backdrop for some amazing shots of the newly married couple. Having only a short time to capture their couple photos, we took a brief walk around the grounds luckily in the glorious sunshine, it certainly was a beautiful day considering were still in March. They really couldn’t have wished for better the weather was like a summer’s day.

Cheryl and Colin were kind enough to provide me with a 3 course meal (something I don’t expect) and what a meal it was absolutely mouth-watering! Between the courses the sunset was truly breath taking and not wanting them to miss out on a once in a life time opportunity I asked them if they wouldn’t mind popping outside for a quick shot, which they happily agreed to and the results were amazing!

Thanks for a fab day and many congratulations
